This is the warmest, most comfortable winter suit I have ever worn. I love Xcel's products and I was positively impressed by the Drylock barrier and the new bamboo/charcoal panels that do an amazing job retaining body heat. The hood is well designed, super-warm and doesn't bother me too much when it's pulled down (it doesn't drag on the neck). In fact, with the wind and rain we've had lately, the hood has done an admirable job keeping the cold out. If you want a super-solid, well-designed and water-tight wetsuit that's warm and reliable in cold water, then this suit is a good way to go. It's pricey, but I've worn my last Xcel for three seasons and it's still going strong. I just hope that Xcel continues to make top-of-the-line gear and doesn't lose its edge like some of its competitors. Five stars from me. And the guys at GREEN ROOM where super nice in helping me get the suit to my house as fast as they could order it from Xcel. I would definitely order from them again.
