5Great sun protection  Jun 26, 2011 By NYCLegal
The medium was a great fit for me, and I usually wear a size 6 or 8 dress. It wasn't skin tight, but it was close enough that it did not interfere with swimming.

5Awesome Rash Guard  Jul 21, 2011 By L. Taber
This is a great rash guard for ladies who aren't stick figures ;-) I didn't have any problems taking it off or putting it on while wet. Great color, too.

5Awesome Product!!!  Jul 18, 2011 By J-Essica
I've had skin cancer, so I'm very concerned about sun exposure. I wore this product for two days in a row while kayaking in hot heat and did not get burned. It was so much easier to wear this than having to reapply sunscreen constantly. It was extremely comfortable and lightweight and does dry quickly. I got a size up based on the prior reviews and was glad I did.

2ridiculously tight-- went with men's sizes  Jan 06, 2012 By Kate "K"
I purchased 5 long sleeve rash guards. My goal was to find a good sun block for swimming in the islands and avoiding a sunburn. My teen daughters wanted them to look good and not be too snug.

So I purchased the Quiksilver Men's Interceptor Long-Sleeve in large for my 6 foot tall, moderately slim husband, two Kanu Surf Men's Platinum Rashguards for teen daughters in Aqua and two women's O'Neilll long sleeve crews in medium and large, also for teen girls.

In sum: the Quiksilver Men's was a great sun block and fit well. Only downside is the white on the side and black in the middle isn't that flattering without rippling abs underneath. All black would be better.

The Kanu's in aqua were IDEAL for my teen daughters-- fit slim, but not tight. Could swim in them without feeling like you were in a cotton shirt. Kept the sunburn off and looked great. Only minor nit-- I washed it in cold water pre-wearing and was glad I did as a TON of dye came out. And it took quite awhile to dry (more than overnight).

The O'Neill Women's long sleeve crews were both EXTREMELY tight. We kept one and returned one. The color was nice (pink), but it was so tight on the neck it was nearly suffocating. Yes I know it's a skin and supposed to be tight, but I expect to be able to breathe when wearing it. The one we kept was a medium for a small teen-- looked great and with help she could pull it over her head after swimming. It was excellent at providing sun protection.

5good one  Jun 30, 2011 By jh
I wore this on a vacation to a very hot and sunny beach. Did a great job of keeping the sun off. I think the SPF rating is very high since I wore it - with no sunscreen under it - for 6 days, took it off for 1/2 of our 7th day in the sun - and got burned (while wearing suncscreen!)Was not as tight as many rashguards but I wear a medium in normal clothes and got this in a large. Did not feel the large was too big though.
