Superfreak Oct 26, 2008
By R. Taylor This is a nice garment to have when you're in the water a long time and need warmth, but a wetsuit would be too much. The problem is that it's made too small, and O'Neill is notorious for making everything too small. I normally wear a medium shirt, but needed a XX large superfreak. I think the folks at O'Neill's are under the misimpression that only malnourished midgets enjoy water sports.
Not too small May 22, 2012
By yeltom Unlike the other reviewer, I think O'Neill products are perfectly sized for watersports. I wear the same size in O'Neill as I do in all my regular clothes. The difference is that the right size in water gear will fit skin-tight in the water, which means it will feel more than skin-tight out of the water. All that O'Neill is assuming is that people who enjoy watersports know how to dress for watersports and are not obese or accustomed to oversized clothing that helps us deny how fat we've become. The Thinskins are actually sized a bit larger than most of O'Neill's rashguards and wetsuits. I wear a medium regardless, but but a medium Thinskin is less tight than, say, a medium Basic Skins rashguard.
